  51.          Do you know the meaning of the word spoonerism? According  to
  52.          Funk  &  Wagnalls  Standard  Desk  Dictionary  it means: "The
  53.          unintentional transposition of sounds or of parts of words in
  54.          speaking, as in 'half-warmed fish' for 'half-formed wish.'"
  55.               This  word  was  named after Reverend William A. Spooner
  56.          (1884-1930) who was the dean of New College, in  Oxford.   He
  57.          evidently  had  a sort of speaking dislexia and became famous
  58.          for many entertaining tangled sentences. For example, he told
  59.          a groom at a wedding, "It is kisstomary to cuss  the  bride."
  60.          Another time, he referred to Queen Victoria as "the queer old
  61.          dean."
